The first step: Call us so that we can discuss your project. We will want to understand what you would like to do, your time line and budget range. If there is a good fit for your project with us, we would then either set up a time to meet at our showroom or at your home for a consultation. A consultation takes 45 minutes to 1 hour and is the time we take to evaluate the space, listen to your ideas, explore scenarios for the new design and give you an estimate. If you like the ideas we present and are comfortable with our estimate, a design fee will be required to start working on your project or if this a remodel, schedule a field measure.
The second step: The concept design is where the creative process begins. We explore the new space and ideas in 3D. We use the most current space planning visualization technology in the effort of making the design process easy to understand and fun!
Our approach is broad - we will design the 3D model of, not only the kitchen space, but all the adjoining spaces so that you are able to gain a clear understanding of how the new design will look and function. If we are working with you on many rooms in the home, we will develop a full 3D model of the entire floor or house so that we can explore the relationship between the different rooms and floors involved.
The third step: Once we finalize the concept design, the selection of materials begins. We offer design services that are aimed at assisting you with as much or as little help as you need for your project, from a straight forward kitchen replacement which may only require cabinetry, counter tops and tile back splash selections to a larger project that requires material selections for the whole house.
The fourth step: Once the concept design is finalized and all the materials are selected, the plan and pricing will be finalized and a project schedule will be created in coordination with your builder or contractor. We would then order all the needed materials on our scope of work and see the job through the schedule to its completion.
